Mini Tour

This has been arranged for August 18th - 20th 2006
It will be to Bournemouth.
We will be staying at the three star Cumberland Hotel on Bed,
Breakfast and Evening Meal basis.
The coach will pick us up on the Island and be with us until we
return.
Optional trips will be available for those not bowling.
Two 6 rink games have been arranged.

There are still places available, so come along and have a lot of fun
with your clubmates. Call Alec for further information

The cost is just £140.00. A £10.00 deposit will be required with
booking

Mainland trip

The Guildford trip has now been confirmed for 29th July 2006 and
transport booked.
We will leave the Island at about 09.00and return from Guildford at
about 19.00. A meal has been arranged at Guildford Bowling Club
after the match.
Put it in your diaries now, and cancel all other events on this day!

For the information of those who play in the Sandown cup, this year
the County, in an effort to increase the number of participating
teams, have decided to make the tournament open to teams of men
or ladies or mixed. Look out for the application form

Our first social evening with fish & chips will be held on Friday 5th
May. Full details will be announced soon.

Congratulations to Mike Kirk, who won a bowling competition whilst
in the middle of the Medditerranean Sea (on a cruise ship,
obviously). Our green will not seem that heavy now Mike!
